FITNESS FOR A WOMAN IS AN ONGOING PROCESS. SHE HAS TO BE:

Exercise
  • Fit to start and maintain a healthy family
  • Fit to sustain her career interests
  • Fit to perform thousands of chores in her daily life
  • Fit to meet menopause headlong and overcome it
  • Fit to fight maladies of middle age and the phase of maturity

Fitness can never be achieved if one starts trying at late 30s or early 40s. It is like a recurring bank account where you must deposit regularly to reap the benefits at a later date. The deposits in your fitness account must begin early - as early as early 20s.

What you eat and how you burn your extra calories?

Almost ALL over-weight women will lament the fact they have tried virtually every diet plan and/or exercise plan available. What they won't tell is all such attempts were short lived and both diet & exercises were not tried simultaneously. If honest, they will admit of being victims to plans like "shed 15 kgs in 15 days" or "Loose that flab without dieting or exercise".

Believe us. There are NO shortcuts.

It requires a judicious mixture of having a balanced diet in order to cut calorie intake and appropriate exercise to burn the extra calories.

Telling some one what to eat and what not to eat may work for sometime but does not last long. We at JE thought that for the discerning Indian eve, it would be better to explain the principles of both diet and exercise and let them plan their own regime.

We did not rest just at that. We also give a wide array of healthy and tasteful recipes. This list is by no means exhaustive! You eves are welcome to add to it, your own, well tried and tested ones.
