Recipes of Salads

BAKED BEANS AND BACON SALAD:

Cooking time – 5-10 minutes

You will need:

  • A tin of baked beans
  • 2 rashers cooked bacon
  • 2 tblspn chopped celery
  • Pickled onions

METHOD

  1. Mix bacon and beans well, then add the celery, squeeze of lemon juice, a little chopped pickled onion.
  2. Serve hot and cold.
  3. Baked beans are an excellent protein food and can be included in your diet when you are not having meat and fish.
