 TENTH WEEK By the end of this
week, the baby is about 4.5 cm long and weighs about five grams. Normal development
includes: 
  Continued development of the eyes, which can be easily recognized below the unformed
    eyelids.Completion of the inner parts of the ear.Beginning of the development of the external part of the ear.Continued development of the internal organs.Formation of ankles and wrists and further development of fingers and toes.Proper formation of the umbilical cord through which the mothers blood circulates
    in foetus. |
